If you’re looking for reliable machine hire with an experienced operator on the Gold Coast, you’re in the right place.

 

We keep things simple: hourly rates only, no project pricing, and no hidden surprises. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our excavators, Bobcat/skid steer, 8T tipper, Combo hire and general earthmoving services.

 

If you’re not sure which machine you need or your site has tight access, just get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction.

What equipment do you hire out?

We offer excavator hire (3T and 5T), Bobcat/skid steer hire, an 8T tipper truck, and Combo hire where you get an excavator and Bobcat operated by the same person. All machines come with an experienced operator.

Do your machines have special features or attachments?

Yes. All our excavators and Bobcat come standard with tilt-hitch buckets for precise shaping and grading work. We also have attachments like hydraulic grabs, augers, and rock breakers available for an additional fee depending on the job.

How much space do I need for the machines to access my site?

For the 3T excavator allow about 1.8 m width and 2.7 m height. For the 5T excavator allow about 2.2 m width and 3.0 m height. For Combo hire (excavator + Bobcat), allow roughly 2.2 m width and 3.0 m height. If your access is tight, just tell us the measurements so we can confirm which machine can fit.

Do you charge fixed prices or project rates?

No, we only charge hourly rates. There is a 4-hour minimum that includes 1 hour for travel. We don’t offer project or fixed pricing. You only pay for the actual time the operator is working on your site.

How soon should I book?

The sooner the better. Some weeks book out fast on the Gold Coast, especially with excavators and Combo hire. Contact us early to secure your preferred day.

What areas do you service?

We service the entire Gold Coast and surrounding regions including coastal suburbs, inland areas and the hinterland. If you’re located a bit further out, just let us know and we’ll check availability.

Can you deliver or remove materials?

Yes, we can deliver soil, gravel, or road base, and we can remove spoil, green waste, or rubble. Dump fees apply for disposal and these costs vary depending on the dump site and the type of material. Disposal is charged at cost plus 10%.

Can I hire the tipper with other equipment?

Yes. The 8T tipper is often hired alongside our excavator or Combo for full site clean-ups, backfilling, or material runs.

Do I need to supply my own operator?

No. All our equipment comes with a professional operator who handles the job safely and efficiently.

What prep should I do before you arrive?

Make sure the access is clear, gates unlocked, and any obstacles or overhead hazards noted. If access is tight or there are tricky areas, mention it when booking so we can plan ahead.

Are there extra costs I need to know about?

Any attachments like rock breakers or augers are an additional fee. Dump fees for material disposal are charged at cost plus 10%. Besides that, it’s just the hourly rate and the 4-hour minimum including travel.

Can you help with tight or residential sites?

Yes, absolutely. Our 3T excavator and Bobcat are ideal for tighter residential access. Let us know the measurements of your gate or entry point and we’ll tell you what will fit.

What if I need to cancel or change my booking?

Just contact us as soon as possible. We’re flexible with changes where we can be, but late cancellations may still incur the minimum hire charge depending on how much notice is given.

What types of jobs can you help with?

We help with trenches, driveways, footings, site preps, drainage work, clean-ups, retaining wall preparations, material runs and most general earthworks. If you’re unsure, just tell us what you’re planning and we’ll let you know what machine you need.
